Kick off your boots & stay a while...

Pink tile, green carpet, the wrong kind of wood paneled walls - just to paint a quick picture of how ugly this room used to be.  As a breezeway this room really didn't serve a purpose, and a mudroom entry is A MUST for a Minnesota winter.
    

My sketch quickly turned into this.  I am amazed.

These cast-iron hooks are from a local gift shop... Made by Creative Co-Op  

 The stain used for everything is Minwax - Dark Walnut  (it has been used for several projects around the house, including the screen door & bar - pictured below.)
